7m shares to be canceled as new buyback begins
After completing the buyback, CCBJH will cancel part of its treasury shares and establish a new purchase limit. The cancellation is scheduled for Nov. 10, 2026, and the new buyback is set to begin on Nov. 1. Cancellation followed by another buyback
- Shares to cancel: Treasury shares held as of Oct. 30, 2026; shares held by the director compensation BIP trust and the share-award ESOP trust are excluded from the treasury share count

- Company's aim: Shareholder returns and improved capital efficiency

Having nearly used the previous ¥30 billion authorization, CCBJH has set a larger ¥40 billion ceiling for its next buyback, signaling that it intends to continue shareholder returns. The new figure is a maximum, not a commitment, and actual purchases will depend on market conditions. Canceling treasury shares reduces the possibility that those shares will be reissued, but the effects on the share price and earnings will also depend on the purchase price and the company's business performance.
