All acquired shares to be canceled, reducing shares outstanding
Mitsubishi Logistics will cancel all the treasury shares acquired in the buyback on Nov. 13, 2026. Based on the share count as of Oct. 29, 2026, treasury shares will total 17,847,336 after the cancellation. The cancellation represents 1.9% of shares outstanding before the reduction, leaving 355,418,895 shares outstanding.
The cancellation will reduce the number of shares outstanding. It will not change profit itself, but if earnings remain at the same level, fewer shares would be used to calculate measures such as earnings per share. The effects on actual performance and the share price will also depend on future earnings trends.
