Mitsui-Soko reported first-quarter FY2027 revenue of ¥80,697 million, up 9.6% year on year, as cargo movements recovered. Operating profit, however, fell 10.8% to ¥5,696 million due to lower high-margin air freight demand and rising freight costs. Net income attributable to shareholders rose 12.9% to ¥3,696 million, lifted by a ¥600 million gain from the sale of an insurance agency unit.
