It set an interim dividend of ¥33.61 per share and revised its full-year dividend forecast, including a year-end dividend of ¥36.73, to ¥70.34. Full-year outlook
Misumi raised its consolidated forecast for FY2027. It lifted its revenue projection to ¥565 billion from ¥532 billion and its operating profit forecast to ¥78 billion from ¥67 billion.
| Item | Previous forecast | Revised forecast | Change | Revision rate |
|---|---|---|---|---|

Misumi said the benefits of digital initiatives including Fictiv, the Economy Series, D-JIT and meviy were continuing at a faster pace than expected, while demand remained strong amid investment in data centers and semiconductors. The company expects an uncertain environment, including geopolitical risks, to persist. Its second-half foreign-exchange assumptions are ¥155 to the U.S. dollar, ¥175 to the euro and ¥22.5 to the Chinese yuan. Misumi also said it may revise its forecasts as conditions change.
Risks and challenges
Despite strong growth, Misumi said uncertainty, including geopolitical risks, is likely to continue. Investors will also need to watch the durability of demand, working capital and currency movements.
- Geopolitical risks: Uncertainty, including tensions in the Middle East, could affect orders and sales if it leads to changes in the global economy or customers' capital investment.
- Concentration of demand: A slowdown in data-center and semiconductor investment, which supported growth this period, could weigh on FA, the strongest-performing business.
- Higher working capital: Trade receivables increased from the prior fiscal year-end, creating a cash outflow in operating cash flow. Managing collections as sales expand remains a challenge.
- Currency fluctuations: The second-half forecast assumes specific exchange rates. Actual rates that diverge significantly from those assumptions could affect the outlook.
The equity ratio remains around 80%, but Misumi also faces funding needs from share repurchases and business expansion. Key questions are whether demand momentum can be sustained and whether sales growth can translate into cash generation.

Misumi's results stand out for how it converted data-center and semiconductor demand into growth not only in FA, but also through VONA's regional gains and improved profitability. Profit grew faster than sales, making the contribution of digital initiatives to margins, as well as to sales growth, an important factor to watch.
The higher full-year forecast is encouraging, but some of the growth depends on strong capital investment demand. Investors will be watching whether demand holds up in the second half and whether Misumi can maintain operating cash flow while managing the increase in trade receivables.
